The Shipping Specialist will play a key role in the daily functions of The Gravity Cartel. This individual will execute day-to-day operations of Picking, Packing, and Organization of the warehouse. You will review execution outcomes and continuously improve the flow of volume through all order fulfillment divisions by analyzing the effectiveness of daily workflow with the Operations Manager. Qualified Shipping Specialists will, from time to time, be asked to support other areas of our business and should be available for general physical and/or minor administrative labor.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Execute daily operational processes- Pick, Pack, Down Stock, and Inventory Cycle Counts
  • Assist with receipt of products and materials including unloading shipping containers and stocking goods in their appropriate bin locations
  • Suggest re-order of operational materials relating to the shipping and receiving process
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all pieces fit together and affect one another
  • Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, partners, and other departments operations
  • Ability to work effectively with others, build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with co-workers, and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with others, build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with co-workers, and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. frequently, 40 lbs. occasionally, and 50 lbs. seldomly
  • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment whether working independently or with others to manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work a regular work schedule and a flexible work schedule when needed during peak season
  • Ability to communicate well with team and supervisors while showing the ability to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Passion and Knowledge of Cycling and Cycling Products
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word
